Yamato vs Kakashi - Page 2

I know it's chidori nagashi but it's still lightning so theoreticlaly, lightning based attacks can beat mokuton. And sasuke jumped out of yamatos mokuton attack, breaking it, so i think kakashi can take yamato if sasuke can do that.

No that different. it wasnt chidori nagashi that disable the mokuton. Sasuke uses his kusanagi sword that sword was par against enma level. and stab Yamato

and guess what yamato said? he wasnt serious to begin with against sasuke. If he was serious your little sasuke would have been serious damage by now.

mokuton isn't invincible noone ever said that which means if any element is powerful enough it can beat it ie: S rank or A rank ninjutsu will beat a lower rank Mokuton ninjutsu.

Yamato was never serious to begin with and seriously underestimated Sasuke's prowess hence his attacks were of a weak nature. We know he's good considering his kekkai genkai, and also he was one of the recommended Anbu/elite anbu working for the 3rd hokage. So you cannot use that to justify that mokuton gets defeated by lightning based on an elemental weakness though I'll agree Sasuke's technique was alot stronger.

Considering how much mokuton has been praised I can't see it having any traditional weaknesses though obviously can be defeated purely if the ninjutsu is of a weaker nature compared to another element.

Look it doesnt matter that Yamato is in the Hokage's personal ANBU. Kakashi was in ANBU too and Yamato always referred to Kakashi as his senior because he knows that Kakashi can do some harm to him. Kakashi would in the fight.
1-Kakashi has the MS+knows thousands of jutsus cause of his Sharingan+has more experience than Yamato+is consider to be a choice of Hokage.

Even though I dont know the full extent of Yamato's skills its just that even though he has the same techniques like the shodaime, Yamato just doesnt quite match up to the first. He even said that he is nothing like the first.

Senpai are merely senior while sensei means teacher. The 2 titles differences gap are BIG!

bottom line , Yamato wasn't even mentioned, when Jairaya and Tsunade were thinking up Hokage canidates, but guess who was? that's right, Kakashi. And why was this? Simple,

Kakashi's smarter, His quicker, his over all skill level is higher. he is much more versitile. He has the sharigan, he won't need to used MS to beat Yamato. But at the same time Yamato, won't be an easy win either.

From all of Yamato's mokuton jutsu so far they are all defence or capture based and have yet to really see him go all out and throw in water or earth jutsu so until he participates in a major fight and show of some mad skills and tactics i put him below Kakashi's level and the conversation that bluewingedD mention only further proves that he is no where near Kakashi.

Kakashi wins this...Yamato has shown nothing that could make me think he could handle Kakashi( who the Sannins think is Hokage material.

Also you can tell by the way Yamato acts around Kakshi, that he looks up to him..and he probably looks up to him because Kakashi's better than he is.
