I don't get it..how are you supposed to review and compare the dub to original if you can't disscuss sub material in here.

I agree that no spoilers for the dub comunity should be allowed here, but the comparison between the subbed episode and the dubbed episode shoul not be banned. By how close the dub came to the sub is how we tell if tehy did a good job on the episode.

Alot of these people will not be seeing the subbed. Yes, the have computers, but if it is like mine was it took 5 hours to download with dial-up.
Some people actually don't like subs-can't read fast enough to keep up. Reading subs to people gets old if you are trying to watch.

Most of these people don't care about the comparison, they just want to talk about a new anime that they are watching and enjoying. They don't care that 150+ episode have already been shown.

Have some consideration for the people that post in here. Sub watchers have the rest of the forum. The dub watchers have one area to talk in.

Yes..but in the dub disscution I want to say how good or bad the episode was, and thats ALWAYS happens by a comparison, or how will sub watchers analyze the dub? also lets face it, 99.9% of the people that post in dub disscution are already familiar with the sub.

MAybe there should be a thread stickied in the regular Naruto forum that is strictly for Dub/Sub Comparsion/Debate. So instead of making new threads about every episode, there will be one big discussion thread. Also, since it will be in the regular Naruto forum, it won't bother any one who is new to the anime.

Dude, the job of the sub watchers in the dub discussion is to say what is kept and what is not kept. Which scene is cut, which is not cut. Which is edited and not edited. Something like that. A lot of the sub watchers talk about edited scenes and cut scenes, and of course the voices and the voice acting. They hardly talk about the script, the dialogues and the translation, which are the ones I'm usually interested in and I have to be the one to find out on my own. Oh well. Maybe I should make a thread to compare the differences in dialogues between the characters from the dub and the original. It should be titled "Garu's Episode Dub Reviews". Or maybe not. :p

Review and pros and cons on episode 7 was the fairest and best discussion so far.
I believe what got the rules made was dealing with the thread that is deleted from here now. The kid that was excited about being able to watch episode 4 and several came on talking about the number of subbed they had watched.

Since I caught your attention, maybe I should give you an advice: if you want to make a review about a certain dub episode, try to make it more elaborate, not "one sentence for every paragraph" like what you usually do. Doesn't look convincing if you know what I mean. And say something that other people won't expect you to say. In other words, don't make your opinion look so obvious.

So what I am trying to say is that if you still hate the dub but you want to give the dub version a chance to improve itself, just lower down the bitching because that doesn't improve the dub. :p Someone who does not give something he claims to be a fan of a chance when it is slightly altered, is not a true fan. People see minor changes and try to tear down the whole thing without the SHADOW of an intelligent argument. The dub isn't a disgrace to Naruto fans...most of the people out there who CALL themselves fans are a disgrace to the show.

hmm..personaly dont see anithyng wrong in just talking about comparison to that specific episode to the subbed since it is the same episode except with the cuts made. Dont think its a huge deal Kakashi..i say let him. But make sure to stay only on that episode and no comments in future ones.
