which do YOU think is stronger...Rinnegan Or Sharingan?

The rinnegan can copy any jutsu instantly. Giving the user the ability to learn learn with one look. Much like the sharigan, so we have to assume that their must be some, prediction capailities, and in depth understanging of the jutsu through just sight. The user also, has control over all elements, meaning that the user can actually copy and use, all jutsu that were copied, unlike the Sharigan, where the user is limited to their affinities, and can not perform currant jutsu's without having such, That right there bring the rinnegan above the sharigan,.

Now let's move on, it can posses bodies or be passed onto different bodies, at the same time, according to the users will. And by doing so, the user gains observational skills with no blind spot, making it's observational skills greater then that of the Byukyugan, along with that observantion ability, they still have their reading of movement's ability. Which pretty much is like a combonation of the sharigan and Byukugan,(which is ridiculus by the way, in it's self) Making all attacks made agains the user pretty much useless.

And we still don't know everhthing the rinnega can do, but which just this, it should be clear that the rinnegan, is more powerful/useful, then the sharigan by stacking them next to each other.

you are wrong it never said he could copy, it said it enabled the user to use all elemental jutsu.

you dont know for sure the jutsu that he uses to gain control of the bodies has anything to do with the renningan.

besides remeber that Pain himself talked about some secret, and i think the secret is his weak point. maybe the real body remains defensless or something like that.

you know what...when i started this thread is was 100% sure that the sharingan was stronger...but after seeing my boy sasuke get manhandled by killerbee, im not so sure anymore...having 6 bodies would sure help right now...so im in confusion to which kekkei genkai is the strongest

it is jsut a normal jutsu,but with the rinnengan it turns into a stronger one...(cause rinnengan is capable of creating any kind of new jutsus) I would go far enough to say,rinnegan can create some sort of amaterasu

I doubt that highly. I think the MS techniques will only be done by people with MS.

This is pretty much baseless speculation anyway, we have never been clearly told what the rinnigan actually does. All we know, has simply been implied.(that it can control six bodies etc, that can master all six of the chakra elements)

Jiraiya said it could copy in his flashback when he was teaching Pain, it could immediately copy and use all 6 elements

Thats why they all have rinnegen and shared the same vision through rinnegen and have all have piercing and the new body he just got also has a rinnegen right?

Every jutsu has a weakness, you say as if the sharingan doesnt, Tsyukyomi you just dont look into his eyes, Amateretsu you just block his view of you, and for Susano it isnt that powerful except Itachis because he has the artifacts.

I'll have to pick sharingan coz its done much more damage and has been used more effectively in fights. Rinnengan is still a mystery.

^^ how can you say that when in the one fight the rinnegan has been in, it has already rendered, everything, useless other then genjutsu created from sound which one has?. Taijutsu... useless, Ninjutsu... useless.. Observational prefection, all six elements. And as you said it's still a mystery. So we can only assume, taht these are thebasic functions.


I mean really people, for f'in crying out loud. a 7 year old completely untrained kid, who doesn't even like to fight, took out a war hardened chunnin, from just having the rinnegan activated, without, even partial mastery. If that shows how much damaged a fully trained genius, who can use the full power of the rinnegan can be. That's all I'm saying I'm done with this thread until, more information is releaved then I'll come back and say i told you so. even though it's already been said, in the Manga.

this little debate should never have even started considering that in the manga it is clearly stated that rinnegan is the strongest. the debate should end now, however, considering the information that we have gathered from the most recent databook. the databook reaffirms the rinnegan's status as the ultimate doujutsu. i think that pretty much answers any and all questions about the accuracy of jiraiya's statements.

how about Kakashi's MS technique doesnt it prove that you can have more techniques than the usual 3 MS techniques.i think that the only downside its the fact that it blinds the user, so imo they dont have enough time to use and exploit its full power.

kakashis eye is different as the eye doesnt have uchiha blood running through it, thus it worked differently.
There are only 3 original techniques and even the databook says the rinnegen the strongest dojutsu, just except the fact that Rinnegen>Sharingan.
