which do YOU think is stronger...Rinnegan Or Sharingan?

which do you think is more powerful...jiraiya said the rinnegan is the strongest...but jiraiya didnt know about the mangekyou sharingan, or the eternal MS, or its abilities....

sharingan : the normal 3 tamoe enables you too see better, help with genjutsu, and copy ANY ninjutsu and tai jutsu...obviously the MS have the tsukomoyi, amaretsu, the secret 3rd technique, enables you to control Bijuus, and when the eternal MS is achieved you get another secret technique...thats the sharingan in a nuttshell....

Rinnegan : obviously the whole seeing better part thing...use any of the 6 ninjutsu...that is what is know so far...maybe the whole 6 bodies thing comes along with the rinnegan...i know we dont know that much about it...

but from all the information that we have...which do YOU think is better???

i was thinkin bout this cause jiraiya said the rinnegan is better...but he didnt know about the mangeyou sharingan or its abilities...id rather fight 6 pains than the nine tails...well thats how i look at it

lets just wait and see what else the rinnegan can do, cause right now as it stand sharingan is better except is kinda like a curse, ms leads u blind except if u get ems, plus i would assume that jman hadnt seen all the rinnegan can do, so i ll hold off till i see it all, probably see more of its power when pien meets up with naruto

As Jiraiya has physically said the rin'negan is the strongest of the three great eye techniques i think im going to have to go with rin'negan.

Oh and as its been stated in the manga this question of which one is stronger has been answered and we all know.

What people should be asking is "how is the rin'negan stronger after everything kishi has done for the sharingan".

true true true thats what im trying to find out...i dont know how the rinnegan is possibly stronger...so i made this thread hoping that someone can actually prove me wrong...guess we'll just have 2 wait and see

True that we will have to wait and see but Jiraiya said it so, its kind of answered lol.

Lets see, 6 elements that no one person can have, including the sharingan unless kishi goes back on himself, vision connected within the summons, if you look closely you will see every summon of his had the same eyes as pein, through speculation controlling the rain though we dont know if its a water jutsu and the 6 bodies thing i will assume is because of the rin'negan.

Oh and of course it was the creator of jutsu, thats got to stand for something.

It doesn't matter how much is stated that the rinnegan is the strongest doujutsu, we haven't seen anything from it compared to sharingan.

According to all kishi has shown us about the Sharingan and the Rinnegan, i stay with the sharingan.

I know I don't think he know about the MS or the EMS either.
The question if had he know that it can control the kybuui like a pet, would he have said it was stronger. In light of Madara ordering Pain around and all, I'm willing to bet that the EMS is better, but thats because Kishi loves the uchiha's and wants the sharingan to remain the supreme dojutsu.

i do agree that i should wait b4 judging this...but up until now everything points that the sharingan is better...the points are there...even though they have some similar qualities ( like copying any ninjutsu is pretty much the same as being able to do any ninjutsu) the fact that pain follows madara also means something...

actually...one might think jiraya knew about the MS. Cause he knew he can control the kyyubi and he must of know how he would of done it. A normal sharingan can't do it. Secondly, the third could of possibly knew about the MS and told jiraya about it. The third suppose to know every ninjutsu and stuff about his village, which should include the sharingan.

Short answer....IMO the sharingan.

As much as we've been made to believe that the rinnegan is all powerful according to jiraya, not even he knew all the abilities of the sharingan, MS, and eternal MS (I dont even see how he couldve known about the eternal MS), so you can choose whether to believe is assumptions of the rinegan or not.

Also, I'm not sure what you mean by seeing better, but as for the sharingan, it allows the user to see the images of their opponents next movements allowing for basically perfect evasion and countering; while the rinnegan allows for joined vision which only seems to be worth anything when you're using multiple bodies.

I also believe that the rinnegan's true abilities seem to be tied into immortality and projecting one's consciousness which is great in its own right; but after being given the near full disclosure of the sharingan's abilities (we still dont kno what the third MS technique or what amaterasu looks like when its performed); I believe the sharingan is the better doujutsu.

Your forgetting Jiraiya was trained by the 3rd who was trained by the 1st and 2nd who would both, especially the 1st, have knowledge of the MS, the 3rd was around the time madara was and Jiraiya did know about controlling kyuubi and itachi said thats what the MS alows you to do.

not tryin to crush your theory but jiraiya has stated anything about the MS...and i doubt the 3rd knew anything because only madara had the MS than itach was the next to unlock than boom the whole clan is dead...so i doubt anyone else knew anything about either...

Going off of what has been shown so far between the 2 I would say that the Sharigan is stronger. Though, that can easily be wrong since everything that the Rinnegan can do has not been shown, and since the MS has been said to have 1 more never seen technique.

jiraiya knew about the MS..because he was the kind of person who was spying on everythin and knew every also he says the Rinenga is the strogest oen all three becasue it he knew about the Sharinga perfelty...and we know Jiraiya...do say thing just for saying he did..for a reason....

thats not the whole story with the MS as we've been shown. Plus the eternal MS has abilities that we dont kno about yet either.

I dont even remember where Jiraya said he knew of the MS. He knows about Madara and how he was able to control the kyuubi, but he never said how he did it. Plus, when he cornered Itachi and Kisame in part one and Itachi used the MS to escape, Jiraya didnt see how he did it.

we dont know about alla abilities of the rinenga either....But...in Naruto world...has just says that the Rinenga is the stronges one...
