I don't know why Deidara is ranked so low on the majority of these lists. He had a efficient jutsu that could basically kill anyone who lacked the Sharingan AND lightning chakra. If you have lungs and lack Sharingan and lightning chakra Deidara could easily beat you with 1 jutsu. I'm sure Deidara would have been able to beat Kakuzu, Orichimaru and Kisame but would probably get his ass handed to him by Sasori because he didn't have lungs. Even though Madara has shown no lightning abilities I'm sure he'd be able to counter the micro-bombs with whatever he used to get out of Amaterasu.

Because deidara's tone/lines at the first akatsuki meeting scene makes me feel like hes the most junior member before tobi joins.

Seriously without Kakuzu to sew him back together, Hidan is trash.

4-kazuzu-i think this guy Is highly underrated/for a guy who fought the 1st and survived ...he is great[he staved off a whole konoha team...outsmarted shikamarou...and best believe... if naruto HAD TOUCHED anyone else in the whole manga they wont have even spoken ... R.S is just pwnage

5-Orochimarou-at his peak this is the man who killed two kages

6-kisame[well ..his chakra reserve is vast but his below sanin level...as confessed when they had to deal with jiraiyi..hence he ranks under oro]

7-sasuke..newbee, but yeah he earned his rank

8-deidra....bleh/i suspect zetsu is stronger but i haven't seen him fight

9-hidan

10-and no need to mention whats her face KONAN...she is my lowest rank ninja in the MANGA

I think some of you have overestimated Pein , he has six bodys but each of them is not very strong compares to other Akatsuki members , i think :

1.Madara (legendery ninja )

2.Pein = Itachi (healthy) = Sasuke ( now ) (Don't underestimate Sasuke and his new MS (EMS?) , he also has Tsukiyomi , Amaterasu , Susaso , noway he doesn't have .)

3.Orochimaru ( Among Sannin , has been considered the person stronger than Jiraiya , recently he 's not so good because of the Third )

4.Sasori . He losed because Sasura had antitode and his grandma who know his weakness . / Kisame : made Guy went berserk only because his clone person , seem pretty strong .

5.Deidara / Kakuzu

6. Hidan . How the hell he has the above member 's blood ?

Haven't known about Zetsu and Konan yet .

It' s pretty logical , right ?

No you're just underestamating him. He kiled a legendary sannin, easily I might add, a sannin who just got finished trounching another AK memeber, a sannin who could have taken down most, if not all of the other Ak memebers( excluding Itachi bbecause that fight could go either way.) And we still haven't seen the full extent of Pein/Nagato power, because we still haven't seen his real body. Yeah I'm pretty sure it's you that underestamating... big , and you are highly over estamating Sasuke....Big time. He got beat by a half dead, itachi, and you think he can be even with PAIN?!!! That's so outragous it's crazy

Good point, I have to add that Pain has also he rinnegan, the best doujutsu in the world by Jiraiya's words.

Maybe you 're right , but Itachi 's Susanoo also make a person using it invincible , and i also consider how Pein can go again Tsukiyomi and Amaterasu (+ Sasuke 's Kirin ) ? About Sasuke 's matter , yes he can't compare to Pain before the fight with Itachi , but now he must be on top 5 shinobis ( alive ) for having so many untimate techniques . Yeah he 's almost dead in the fight with 8 tails but Sasuke hasn't use his trump card yet.

I know people don't like Sasuke , but he has to be like this to achive his goal and i respect him for that .

One susuno doesn't make the person using it invisible, it makes the person practiclly invisible, there are ways around it, which is very odivous. But I deal with that later. Second Sasuke has one =, I repeat, one extrememly powerful jutsu, and that Kirin, and that takes time to form. And beofre you speak, sasuje does not have Susuno he doesn't have Tsukiyomi, and he can only use Amertarsu when looking into Madara's Sharigan. And we have no idea, what his Ms techiniques are, and even with his Ms techinique, it doesn't make him top 5 ninja alive.

And let's bring into account that Sasuke can use Itachi's techiniques( which he can't), Tsukiyomi is useless against six. He uses it twice, he his haf dead already, same can be saud for Amertarasu. As for sasuno, good luck, trying to hit all six of thise eins before, your chakra is completly out. As for Kirin, pain has a body that absorbs all jutsu. I see no way of sasuke wining with, or without Itachis technique, added on to his arsenal, I can't even see sauke getting through the summoning, pein, body without using ms, adding adding one more would be enough to beat him. And can you honestly belive saskue can match Pein when Jairya couldn't...outrageous. And let's not foget that ifone of his bodies does die they can be replaced, and or revived on the spot so... I really can't see anyone beating Pein right now, let's not even metion Nagato.

Maybe you didn't note but Tobi once 've said that Itachi had tranfered all his eyes techniques to Sasuke , may be Sasuke still can't use it yet but i assume he has it . As for Kirin , i know the Fat guy of Pain can absorb power , but Sasuke can manage to hit the remain five bodys somehow that the Fat guy can't interfere . So there 're a chance that he can beat Pain . Plus Jiraiya losed to Pain , one of the reasons is he was careless (didn't note that Pein still alive ) . But I have to admit that Pain 's attack also very dangerous , Jiraiya still can't stand a chance if he fight carefully . So I considered it again , maybe Sasuke stands 3rd ?

We don't know about Itachi healthy , It must be much more stronger so can he stands the 2 nd strongest ?
