It has recently come to my attention that certain mods and certain members of the nm forum community want to stop the creating of a RIP itachi thread. When I read about this my emotions went from

. I have decided that this cannot be and I'm calling all members who love Itachi and feel that he deserves a RIP thead to go ahead and support my petition.

LOOK AT THIS FACE

LOOK AT IT. Does that look like the face of someone who doesn't want a RIP Thread. I didnt think so!

So feel free to put your signature in any form you choose whether in support

or in disapproval

and we'll see if we cant work something out.

ps. Please, please, pleaaaaaaaase do not put as your signature "RIP itachi"

This thread has my full support. I think of all the characters who have died in Naruto Itachi is the most deserving of an RIP thread.

Yes, even more than the J-Man.

Although if the mods oppose Itachi having an RIP thread I can see this thread being closed.

itachi is an all aroud character a bad ass villain at the same time a hero and a loving brother... He deserves an RIP thread...

Post whether you support an itachi rip thread or if you disapprove. Im going to go assume that you disapprove. The mods will delete the thread if it degrades into a good v bad discussion. This is solely for getting the RIP thread authorized.

In my opinion Itachi deserves a R.I.P. thread because he was a very cool and awesome character. Also if J-Man gets a R.I.P. thread Itachi can get a R.I.P. thread too.

BTH I'm totally with a Itachi RIP thread, if Jiraiya got one then Itachi sure as hell should get one he was a awesome character.

Until we determine whether or not Itachi actually commited the crimes he's famous for, and in all likelyhood he did, I don't want a RIP thread for him

Just a side character? Itachi is more or less the reason the story has unfolded as it has.

Take Itachi out the story and it is completely different. Take Jiraiya out and it is marginally different. The impact the absence of Itachi would be far greater than that of the J-Man.

Sorry, I know this thread isn't for discussion but I felt compelled to argue with this post.

I dont remember Asuma gettting an R.I.P thread.

and asuma was a GOOD GUY throughout the story. Had more scenes than Itachi

R.I.P. threads should be limited to good respectable characters

Why not let him have one? I could understand if this was in regards to an actual person that had allegedly committed heinous crimes. But this is a character, and a popular one at that. A character being taken from a story can deservedly be mourned. I'm impartial, but I'd say for the sake of contributing to the post that I'm in favor of this.

Deidara was far more popular and he got nada... So... Hell no, Itachi doesn't deserve one. Neither does Jiraiya in my opinion, but eh... He died in an awesome way, so it was fine.

I'm only "voting" against him because of the latest chapter... Damn, why'd he have to go and become so cliché in the end. You know, with the whole being a good guy thing...

Admittedly, Deidara did deserve one. But I seriously doubt DD is as popular as itachi, he's only been around post shippuden. Not a big lifespan (although he did seriously good for however long he was around). Itachi is a different story, he's in the top ten most liked characters according to a japanese poll and he's #1 in my book!!

So cmon people make some more noise!!! I wanna see a mod make a post in this (glances surreptitiouly in cane's direction)

At some point we have to draw the line.

I knew this shit would happen after we allowed the first rip thread, now everytime a characters dies its going to be demanded that a rip thread is created.

We are not going to make rip threads for every damn character who dies(and trust me, more deaths are most likely to come)

Jiriyia was a special case, there wasnt any uchiha hating with him.......everybody loved him......i knew nobody who had anything againts jiriyia.

Sorry guys consensus between us is theres not gonna be a RIP Itachi thread or any character thread for that matter. As a bit of compensation I wouldnt be opposed to everybody putting a unique but NON SPOILER revealing picture of Itachi in their sigs as tribute to their fallen favorite villan.

It cant have anything spoiler revealing what-so-ever. No RIPs just a simple picture of Itachi.
