Kakashi Bloodlust?

Ever since Kakashi Gaiden and zabuza we have not gotten what we wanted. Kakashi kicking ass. In all other arcs before the time skip, we saw a little of what he was capable of, and besides Orochimaru, i dont really think there were Ninja kakashi couldnt own (i know thats debatable, but yea i said it) Now that Akastuki is here and kakashi has gotten owned once bigtime, whcih i think demoralized him a little, he is out for blood and the fun of it. Do you think that w/o Akats, he would develop into the complete badass he is now with MS, rakiri, and im sure he created another one during the sasuke arc? Or even, what are his ambitions?

Regardless of Akasuki kakashi would still develope into a kick ass character simply for the fact that he is always continually improving. ANd even without Akatsuki there would always be other villans out their that needed to be dealt with. So kakashi would still be as strong even without them. He just may not have pushed himsef as hard as he did to improve so fast.

Your right about that, Do you think he improves on himself as intensly as Gai? Gai improves himself to be better than kakashi. Who does kakashi look up to?

Well getting beat up is one thing. Getting destroyed in 1 second is another. That some motivation right there. I mean withouth that i dont think he would aspire to what he is now. I mean questionably one of the most powerful ninjas in the narutoverse.

Well, all I have heard is that Itachi is the shit that, ithachi is the shit this. Why? because of MS....granted he is better with than Kakashi. It still owns. Kakashi still owns.

Which brings me to a hypothesis: Itachi is a huge inspiration for kakashi, without Itachi, Kakashi he would bever be able to be the ninja he is today.

While that may be true, I believe Kakashi was talking in terms of power. And we all know that when it comes down to it power isn't the only thing. Although Kakashi said this, I still believe he has the upper hand simply because Kakashi is smart as hell when it comes down to it, almost like Shika.

I would say kaskshi looks up to his old sempi Yondaime, but since Jiraiya trained Yondaime Kakashi now possibly looks up to Jiraiya to try to be as strong as him. As seen in the convo they had when Jiraiya told him Akatsuki would be comming after him soon so he would take over Naruto for a while. He also kinda dissed him by saying ' you cant defend him with your current level' and kakashi knew he was not capale of dealing with Akatsuki.

Don't get the wrong idea. Compared to anyone other than the members of Akatsuki, and even including some of the members, Kakashi is immensely talented and dangerous. Frankly I think the only way for him to get better is to have strong opponents like them, otherwise he gets lazy like he was in the beginning of the series, just reading Make-Out Paradise all the time.

what shade said is for real remember itachi who really kicks ass is always impressed about kakashi when they meet because of his improvement hes getting better and better like every other important character and for him to obtain ms without itachis way i think kakashi is clearly underestimated

I think you guys are missing the real reason Kakashi has gotten stronger.

Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura

Before Team 7, Kakashi had lost all the things that were "precious" to him. Yes, he had the village and as a good ninja would give his life for duty, but now Kakashi has people and bonds to truly protect and fight. His "will of fire" has been stoked and burns bright again. This is the reason I think Kakashi's chakra has increased. Chakra is the molding of physical strength and spiritual strength, and as Kakashi's will to protect and fight increase so has his chakra.

The Shinobi are always deeloping new skills. A person like Kakashi doesnt just chill all the time. HEs probably developing new jutsu or at least refining the ones he already has trying to make them more efficient.

Id have to agree with this. I think one of the main reasons he continues what he is doing and continues to get better with the sharingan is because he probably believes he is living for both obito and himself. Dunno just my thoughts.

So you think it's just Kakashi being "lazy"? There's always been stronger ninjas than kakashi out there. Do u really think so little of Kakashi to think of him as lazy? Orochimaru was always out there. Itachi was always out there. Akatsuki was always out there. The only thing that changed was Team 7. Remember, Kakashi failed every team until Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura.

^that's a really good point. It was only when Itachi tore Kakashi a new one that he decided to push his sharigan to the next level. Yet, I've got a feel that Kakashi would be one of the next contenders for the next hokage and, though he doesn't show it, his character has always been to be great. So, I do see him getting better even if it takes tragic events for him to do so.

He never said he was "lazy". He said he was out of shape. There is a distinction. Like I argued in the "Kakashi stronger w/o Sharingan" thread, Kakashi doesn't have the personality to be lazy. People always confuse his lack of promptness as laziness, but it isn't. It's his way of honoring Obito.

And it's not just Kakashi's skill improving. His chakra stamina has noticably increased.
