I think the fact Sasuke is confused on what he wants to do is justification for his selling out Konoha. He made a snap decison under pressure with barely any time to think.

Uchihaeyez we don't know why the clan was killed, only Itachi and Madara did it. Itachi could be seen as a sell out by killing shisui for MS, but he didnt gain anything from slaughtering clan...poncho's right. The whole village over one friend, who's the biggest sell out...

At least Sasuke didnt kill Naruto.

It may have been just on a whim.

But he wouldnt resort to digging down to itachi's level.

Both Itachi and Sasuke left the village.

Itachi killed dozens, and Sasuke injured one, and not even badly.

Who's the bigger sellout isn't a question.

Itachi's way more of a sellout than Sasuke every will be, and if it werent for his desperate attempts at power such as MS, and training with Madara, then he wouldnt have done as well in this fight Either.

Can you explain to me why he's face down in the gravel?

Itachi didn't talk trash. He said he had MS and Sasuke can't beat him which is true. Look at the power of MS. Look how Itachi is overpowering.

Show me where in the manga it said killing his clan made him stronger in anyway. His excuse was it was to measure his capacity that's all.

You know it wasnt on a whim, he had plenty of time to decide and he decided to leave.

And if you read my posts a few pages back I've got proof hes stooped to itachi lvl...you think a chidori through the lung is a minor wound?

Idk what u all so angry about i think last arc been all out awsome, u cant read it overanalized and expect evrything to turn out like u wanted it urself, like someone sugested try rereading the arc once finished.

Idk, i dont think sasuke will see it as a victory even though itachi is down, it's kinda like itachi sticking a last : "foolish weak little brother" to sasuke.
But im sure he's happy as hell itachi finaly down, i mean just a little ago he was like wth damn u for surviving my kirin.

In my eyes sasuke won the fight but lost something as well, just like naruto going 4 tail now sasuke lost controll of oro ( is he gone or did he revive after itachi dropped?), i think both naruto and sasuke in this is a lot alike and at times let their emotions rule their judgment, although sasuke keept his cool longer.
I think sasuke needs a vacation now before taking on madara, a long nice vacation to heal up and get a boost.

then again i wanna see the full arc before i say anything certain

kakashi was right at the moment sasuke has nothing left his life is revenge its over now so what are his options go after madara or have no purpose in life, whatever he chooses he will still be mad because he has no clan and no bonds to this earth, and assuming he defeats madara then what again he has nothing but the emptiness he created

Regardless of the fact naruto healed from it, sasuke still stooped to itachi's lvl...

I'm not even gonna get into the controversial conclusion of that last clash, he couldn't have killed him with chidori since their attacks canceled each other out...it was decided by a punch to the chest...

Just cause he didnt go for it *again* in the end doesn't make fact he stooped to itachi's lvl nonexistent...

But anyway, itachi still got emotional win, sasuke got physical, its settled

But he never said "I see you dead". He said that was the gap between their power and he can back that up. Susano'o blocked Sasuke's Ultimate jutsu like it was nothing. That's the gap between between their powers and their eyes. Itachi said it and he backed it up. Sasuke didn't.

they have bonds towards him he hasnt expressed any personal bonds towards any of them, he threatened to kill team hebi, except for kirin he is just using them to achieve his own goals and as far as im concerned at this point he has no bond towards konoha, they are a part of his past that held him back... if u notice i say at this point because i think itll change but right now kakashi was right this is what revenge has brought nothing but lonliness for sasuke
