I am really disappointed on how the fight ended. Yes there is a clear difference in their levels, maybe it was all the hype everyone was giving it that made it an epic fail. Even though sasuke couldn't beat itachi, I so think he deserve a more decent death than just a heart attack. And oro comeing back is really makeing me mad. he needs to just die.

Haha! Did anyone else think "tag! You're it!" on page 13? I sure did! That made me laugh which is nice considering I had a horrible day. The love of my life for six years passed away today. He was only seventeen. No, I'm not okay....my eyes are raw from crying so much....

Orochimaru's going back for some Uchiha booty...what's new. He has a serious obsession with them; he needs to get over it.

Also, last page looks like Itachi accessed his cursed seal on his right arm.

See it wasn't an accident that Itachi poked Sasuke on the forehead. It wasn't even close to his eye. He never intended to actually take his eye. Or at least that is what it looked like at the last moment.

I must have been lying to myself when I said I'd be happy with this ending. I don't know why, but I really really really feel dissapointed now. It wasn't like I interpreted the spoilers would be. I'm glad Itachi still got the psychological win and all, but the fact that Kishi went out of his way to prove sasuke was gonna get raped and had absolutely no way to defend himself only made it feel that much more upsetting when Itachi collapsed. Sigh...damn you Kishi. Least no one can say Itachi lost to Sasuke now.

The part about susano pinning sasuke againest the wall was just like I assumed it would. I knew it'd either be with shield or Susano itself.

I can only ponder how Sasuke must have felt being slammed with that unimaginable sense of fear and despair. It must have been like being held over the middle of hell itself, nothing to stop your fall, knowing your going to drop in any second.

I still don't get the people complaining about Itachi dying like this. If he actually survived after using so many chakra taxing techniques, he would become Sasuke 2... That and absorbing Orochimaru might have had something to do with this. Maybe the white snakes paralyzing effect somehow got him...>_>

Oh and it really, really looks like he aimed for the eyes, but just passed out before actually hitting Sasuke. Look at his eyes on the double page. He's already gone there. Looks like it anyway.

The only difference is, based on what I've just seen, I don't think Itachi ever truly wanted to kill Sasuke. I believed that before, and the most recent chapter sort of confirms it for me. There were too many hints that there was something out of the ordinary up with Itachi. I think he went into this fight knowing that he was going to die, and was only upset by the fact that Sasuke hadn't achieved Mangekyou. I think he still though he was worthy of his eyes though.
