i agree, every jutsu requires a certain amount of chakra. and sooner or later suigetsu would run out of chakra. its just an observation.

For some reason this chapter got me thinking back to the time when the Kyuubi warned Sasuke not to kill Naruto. At the time I thought he was just saying that Sasuke would regret losing his best friend or something... but considering the fate of Madara's brother and Itachi, I'm starting to think the Kyuubi was warning Sasuke because those who get MS are basically cursed in the end. Which might be why in that interview Kishi said something big is going to happen to Kakashi. Perhaps that is something to do with his MS.

It's obvious Kyuubi is scared or waryof the sharingan, kyuubi was protecting his own skin.

Personally I'm against any thought that Kyuubi may have a sympathetic bone in his body. He is an asshole. Period. It's what makes it awesome cause Naruto can't ever let that jerk have his own way or people will get dead.

Ya seriously...its almost as stupid as people claiming Pein (AL) was really the 4th before he was revealed.

And I'm sure Kyuubi's warning was not only to preserve Naruto and his life, he was giving Sasuke the heads up that if he gained MS then , Itachi would come and rape him, just like if he had gained it 2.5 years earlier. Cryptic messages always scare protagonists away...

I think Itachi told sasuke that the requirements to gain ms by killing your best friend was in a sense cause itachi didnt leave any of sasuke's relatives alive......and the closest bond that sasuke would have would be to a "friend"...... remember that Shisui was Itachi's cousin and closest companion....while some may consider this to be his "best friend"...... technically he was his relative and therefore not a "friend"....and also we still dont see how madara and his brother gained the MS....in the flashback they only show them fighting each other

shows what appears to be drops of blood flying around followed by the 2 brothers awakening their MS....its obvious that madaras closest friend/companion/bond was his younger brother because even after they gained the MS they took over the uchiha clan together... so how did they awaken MS and yet they were still both alive?.....

do you think that they both killed their "best friends" back then to gain that ability?....

no I think the secret lies in the "Bond"......
if you are able to sever/give up/end the bond with the sole purpose being to gain more power than the "bond" you are severing (MOST people wouldnt trade a friend or a brother in for anything in the world) then you would gain a new bond/power with your eyes but in time they will abandon you like you did the bond/friend/companion to gain those eyes...

In madara's and his brothers example was they cared more about gaining power and surpassing each other than they did about each other....hence sacraficing their bond for power....

In Kakashi's example (im assuming of course) he always thought that obito's death was his falt and visited the grave everyday holding on to the past blaming himself...
but what if he finally let go of that guilt/bond said his peace to obito and decided that he needed to become stronger for his village and his students hence severing the bond.....then only was he able to gain his MS....

Sasuke never gained his because he couldnt sever the bonds of hate with itachi.....

hence everyoned has a diffrent MS.....different bonds..hate/guilt/jealousy..etc....

I agree with most of everything you said and you make some good points, but I do think they cared for each other. The younger brother was tending to his brother when his vision went away. He even dropped his gaurd completely around his brother and got his eyes snatched. The younger brother just screams Sasuke 1 to me. I'm pretty sure the younger brother cared atleast, dunno bout Madara. I think they must have gained MS through a different method. Just not sure how.

Well from what I understood you said that you think Madara is shusui which can't be right because the Uchiha police found his body. Remember he was the guy who Itachi killed for his MS so it can't be Shusui.

Agree 100%, it can't be Shisui unless Kishi's gonna pull a 'Uber Realistic Fake body' ploy like with Kabuto and Sai.
