Does anyone have this idea where Itachi and Jiraiya were on some plan to stop Madara and Pein together? I mean Jiraiya said he had a spy on AK and avoided fighting Itachi.

When did Jiraiya said he had a spy on Ak? And even if he did, this does not necessarily mean the spy is within the Akatuski ranks.

no that is the Tengu theory, it has been quoted many times but has yet to be proven. it is surpose to be a mutation from the hyuuga just as that is the mutation from the rin'negan

@sierra I believe jiraiyas spy in akatsuki told him tsunade's whereabouts. It was sometime during the anime he mentioned he has someone spying on akatsuki. I dont suppose it might be kabuto as stealthy as he is. If it was kabuto i dont see why kabuto would have attacked naruto at the sannin fight.

Yea, fire was their speciality as most of them has a fire affinity, but yea why does most of their fire techniques always come out of their mouths.

No i don't see why it is Kabuto, as he was so far up Orochimaru's ass, that he would never help anyone who opposed his master. It would most likely with the current storyline be Itachi.

Just reread the chapter and noticed something a little strange.
If the left MS is for the ultimate genjitsu and the right for the ultimate physical attack, how the hell did Amateresu come from his left eye ?!?!
Is this Kishimoto just getting caught up in all the action, an actual important plot detail or me being too pedantic ?!?!

that was strictly for Itachi's eyes

his eyes contained the strongest genjutsu in the left and the strongest physical in the right

and Susano lived in his heart, his spirit, and his soul manifested

For the record, It isn't actually stated that the Byakugan is a mutation of the Rinnegan

it is only stated that it is widely believed that the Uchiha and their sharingan have their genetic roots with the Hyuuga and their Byakugan

except you seem to be forgetting the manga where the debate roared as to why "Itachi's blood" flowed onto...

agreed i think the two possibilities here are that the blood was used as a seal on his forhead and that is what the poke is for

the other would be that the blood transformed sasuke's eye and the poke was to make sure ameratsu fired when sasuke saw madara's sharingan

poke is definetly involved tho

Why would Itachi find Madara's attack failure on konoha sad? One would think he was disappointed that Madara failed.. He then goes into his little joyous rant about how he will surpass madara, and achieve true immortality...

I agree with what Cane was saying. Yes its possible Itachi really is a good guy, but at this moment there is alot and I mean alot of evidence that shows he is not.

Underline 1: Madara is at the moment the ultimate villain in the Narutoverse. He was the one who let the Kyubi attack Konoha. He´s the leader of Akatsuki. I guess that killing the ultimate villain in the manga is a condition in order to save the Shinobi world.

Underline2: You could be right but I could be right too. I assume that Madara didn´t lie to Sasuke. So if Itachi was trying to safe the Shinobi world he wouldn´t have take over the Shinobi world after he killed Madara. But that´s pure speculation because we don´t know very much about Itachi. So we can´t say that´s right or that´s wrong.

Underline3: Again I assume that Madara tell the truth. So if Madara tell the truth Itachi just acted as an evil big brother in front of Sasuke.

Underline4: I´d rather call Itachi "grey" because offering human lives in order to save more human lives can´t be considered as evil in my opinion.

You see that my theory is based on the fact that Madara didn´t lie. If Madara lie my theory is worthless. But we dunno if Madara lie or not. There´s absolutly no proof for the fact that Madara lie or not.
