Cause that was the way it was programmed upon release towards madara when Itachi did the forehead tap jutsu of transfery-nessity of doom.

Becuase itachis blood fell into his left eye, thats why.

sasuke still would have gotten ms without itachis blood on him but somehow itachi made it so the blood would activate a defense against tobis ems.

Another thing is maybe ems does make your eyes not start going blind but maybe after a certain amount of time you can only use ems for a while before it goes back to regular ms and u need to switch your eyes with new ms eyes to be able to get ems again.

Itachi clearly wanted EMS. He showed his true self to Sasuke.

Yet, Madara is making Itachi out to be a hero.

if that's the case, that means his light faded. and they shouldn't be called EMS, since they would be no where near it.

No to both your theories.

The first thing, Itachi wasn't Sasuke's best friend, he just hated that bastard.

The second, if EMS reverts back to MS so then you go blind again, then why would Itachi want to obtain Mangekyou Sharingan and then EMS? He killed the Uchiha, or Madara did it. EIther way the two of them where complicit in it's destruction leaving only ONE set of eyes left.

Your theory suggests that they need to replenish the EMS after time, and thata is stupid.

Dussan, while I agree that Itachi was definitely not Sasuke's best friend, that doesn't mean Sasuke couldn't have gained MS from the fight. We know the rule: Kill your best friend, get MS. But to be an unbreakable canon law of genetics, that would mean Kakashi killed his best friend between Part I and Part II. Unless you believe Kakashi went, found his closest friend, and killed him... with none of this being mentioned so much as once after the fact... there must be at least one other method for unlocking MS.

Your right. I think that you get the MS if you kill the person you hate most. Because you need a very close bond to someone in order to gain the MS. Killing your best friend is one option. So why not gain the MS when you kill the person you hate most? That makes much sense in my opinion.

Has anyone noticed........why is Itachi's forehead protecter missing the scratch through the leaf symbol on the last page?,.......Is this to actually prove that Itachi was indeed good, because from what i could remember all the other frame shots with itachi in it showed the FHP with a scratch running across it.....actually all the members of akatsuki for that matter....

Is Madara's sharingan (the original MS) able to awaken other users sharingan just by looking at it?, from what I have noticed 2 sharingan user's at the site of madaras....have had their sharingan what appears to be forcefully activated.....

here Kakashi clearly shows an exclamation point (which is a symbol of surprise) in the frame before we see his sharingan all wide and crazy lookin...
and the same thing happened to sasuke, where they admited that the sight of his sharingan activated it.....

But Kakashi did kill his best friend.

He left him to die, and it was Kakashi's doubt, and stickling for the rules that caused Obito and he to be placed in that unfortunate tactical situation.

I bet that is how Kakashi feels.

So it could be argued that he killed his best friend. At least a lot more convincingly then the idea that Kakashi killed his worst enemy or that he even had a enemy that he hated that much.

and it could be that you are left with one ems eye and one ms eye and you need to do something to get ems in the other eye again.
