i kind of agree with the fact the itachi isnt a "goody goody" good guy, i think he is still evil because no matter what the cost a good guy wouldnt kill so many people without alerting anyone else about why, and for 2 he has a jutsu that puts people into another dimension and he uses it to torture his enemy until they cant stand!

this guy is truly not a good guy, no matter what his motives. but i think naruto is getting a bit lost on where its going. everything after the jiraiya vs pain fight (which was the by far the best fight so far) has been pretty terrible in my opinion,

anyone else agree?

In Itachi's defense he is a shinobi. Kakashi would do the same thing to his opponents. There are really no "good" guys in the shinobi world (maybe Hinata). If you don't try to kill your opponent or incapacitate them you are going to die.

thats true but torture is something i dont think some1 like kakashi would do in such a way.

e.g remember when jiraiya needed info about pain?

he tickled the guy till he talked! thats the kind of shinobi im talking about!

I think that the tickling was just to put some humor in the manga.
As for the kakashi thing, Remember in the chuunin exams arc where kabuto came into the hospital room sasuke was in. Kakashi asked him if he was associated with orochimaru. Kakashi immidietly said something like, I might have to capture you and have you tortured depending on your answer. It was something along those lines.

I beleive Itachi was not after Saske's eye's just yet as he stated he was not using MS yet. Also as some of you have stated I don't think Itachi was expeting to be defetated. I also don't think he is a good guy just yet either. If he really wanted to help his brother why would he take power away from him(sealing Orochimaru) Unless he felt that Orochimaru would eventually take control which he did be cause of Itachi.
The hole thing with the eye's is what this about and getting the next set of eyes to yet again evolve once more is what I think it going on. Currently Madara has the most powerfull eyes having joined 2 equal pairs his and his bothers. Not supposdly Sasuke has eye's of equal power. I'm guessing Madara will take those eyes so he can go to the next lvl, unless Sasuke get's his first.

As for Naruto for him to equal Saske he need to need to learn anouther elemntal jutsu most likly water if he wants to go against Sasuke. But as mention He will probably fight Pain and Sasuke Madara than who know's what.

Your right. I don´t trust Madara too. I think that Madara will try to manipulate Sasuke for his own advantage.
