Dam, my wish came true of seeing a younger Madara but not in the right context. I was hoping of seeing him training a younger Itachi so as 2 finally put the whole stealing obito's body theory to rest. Dam now we will have to wait for another couple of weeks.

I really want to know more details since Itachi is being referred to as a sacrifice. I can't wait to find out what happened between the first and Madara since Madara says he admired him so greatly.

Shall we find out WHY Itachi killed all the Uchiha? Was he ordered to do this simply because they were a threat to the village as a whole? Did they learn that the Uchiha's were responsible for the summoning of the nine tails that costed the 4th his life?

Was it done simply to trick Madara into trusting him?

I'd like to hear more about just how badass the first truly was. Madara just gave the man some heavy praises.

I was thinking the exact same thing that guy made all sorts of hard and GRAY choices.All for the greater good of Konoha,the Uchiha clan was having all sorts of secret meetings.You could hear how important that they thought it was for Itachi to become a ANBU.That rises another question why did Madara help kill the clan if it was an order from the Third?

You know Ive allways thought the Leaf treated the destruction of the Uchiha clan rather lightly. It kinda makes sense now (if its true) that the higher ups believed that the Eradication of the Uchiha clan was for the greater good.

I say lightly because it was brought up very little among the village and the only 3 Jounin I ever seen openly upset about it where Kurenai Asuma and Kakashi. Nobody else seemed to care that much. Even the higher ups didnt seem that concerned about going after Itachi and never really made any efforts to.

@ poncho: in reference to yondaime gaiden online, I doubt that guy has the time, he works on naruto 24/7 don't forget this is japan where anything less than 25 hours of work per day is considered slacking!

great chapter... a little dragged out but still great...

so the 1st Hokage's name was Senju Hashirama, then we could assume that Tsunade's surname is Senju... Senju Tsunade, hmmm not a bad name...

the storyline is kinda twisting on it self... it seems that Konoha may not be the good village we all believe it was... but what i can say, conspiracies like this makes a government what it is...

unless, Madara is lying and is giving Sasuke all this shit to make him his ally... thus Pain's plans is quite in order with Madara's plans...

I don' t trust what Madara is telling Sassuke.
Why would the 3rd order the destruction of Uchiha clan? The motives: revenge for the 4th, summoning of the Kyuubi, danger posed by them. Not likely, the 3rd had other ways of dealing with them. The Kyuubi was in Naruto so the known most potent weapon of the Uchiha clan is neutralized, Madara lost most of his power, Itachi said the clan was stagnant.
Why the 3rd still gave the order or did nothing?
In the case of the Hyuuga the peace had to be kept and one of Konoha bloodline limits kept secret that' s why they sacrifaced Neji' s dad.
Why not the Second Hokage, his brother fought Madara, why would he keep the Uchiha clan around and not eliminate them?
Itachi said that Madara helped him by trainning him and participating, Madara says that Itachi killed the clan.
By giving credit to First' s abilities, Madara is actually is boasting himself: "Look that guy was so good but I still fought him ..."
Like I said don' t trust what Madara is saying.

Hmm, Itachi might have killed the whole clan to get closer to Madara and Akats. To track down all there movements. Since they knew that they were after the Nine-Tails.
Correct me if i am wrong. But Jiraiya Knew alot about Akats he might have heard something from Itachi or something like that.. Maybe the 3th knew about Madara's plan about attacking Konoha. By using the Nine-Tails again.. And they left Sasuke alive so he could control the Kyuubi to not attack Konoha.. Thats why Itachi wanted his brother to get stronger. To protect Konoha, For when they would get attacked by Madara and the Kyuubi. Since you would need Sharingan to control the Kyuubi.

Honestly I cannot see why Sasuke would be mad at Konoha unless hes just a moron. I mean it says only 4 people know the truth about Itachi. And now its really just 3 people.. This means the current hokage doesn't even know. This also means the 4th didnt know either. I think if Sasuke suddenly begins to just "hate" konoha in its entirety, he would be jumping the gun. Itachi is no hero! He clearly showed his true self to Sasuke. He wanted EMS.

As far as Madara goes, i wouldn't trust him at all. He is playing with Sasukes mind right now and Sasuke is going to fall for it. Sasuke will go exact revenge on Konoha based on Madara's story (God Sasuke is easily influenced).

I believe Madara is lying and is trying to get Sasuke to join Akatsuki. Madara is giving Sasuke a reason to hate Konoha even more.

On another note I see the Tobito Theorists are coming up with new theories to prove their point. Pathetic.
