Why not? we know danzou is pro-violence, he disliked sarutobi's ways, he went ahead and ordered an anbu operative to go and kill the clan. its not that hard to believe really.

Something of such a scale would of needed the hokages approval, itachi was ANBU, ANBU are like a private "army" of the hokage, it was explained. Plus, danzou wouldn't be around right now if he had gone behind the 3rds back. Don't you find it a little odd that if the 3rd didn't approve it and danzou just done it willy nilly, that danzou is still walking around konoha? I think you just can't accept that sarutobi would order or approve of such a thing.

Danzou clearly ordered sai to do something without tsunade's consent, he is still around isn't he? i think you underestimate his reach with the village elders.

^Sai didn't go through with it, and sasuke is one man, the sun don't shine out his ass. If someone ordered someone else to kill an enitre, ENTIRE clan without the hokage knowing or his/her approval, then that someone who ordered them to do it would not be around to talk about it, or would not be around in public to talk about. I.e. He would be thrown in jail or hung by the very neck that allowed the orders to come out. The 3rd clearly had something to do with it, he clearly gave some orders or approved them.

I really doubt that kishi is going to give us the 1ste and madara fight. It would show how madara got his ass handed to him. This would mean we would know how naruto should, would, could and most like is going to kick madara's ass. I would like to see the fight but without kishi showing the defeat of madara.
