No surprise really IMO, that is the eight tails, knowing about his Bijuu powers or not :/

All the Sasuke haters are annoying but what do you want eh?

Good to see him get knocked down but how this manga has been going it wont be for long IMO. And if I can assume in my Fanfic world, Sasuke will get the 8 Tails either way so yeah. I'm waiting to hear the OMFG THATS BS NO WAI HE HAS BIJUU POWERS!1!!! SASUGAY!!!!

Seriously though, good chapter, I like the 8 tails.

Even if the whole Sasuke affair has made me lose a bit of interest in him, he's still the best

I'm just hoping we get to see a bit of the real 8 tailed powers.

So Sasuke loses the white snakes healing power but has a walking talking get out of jail free card with Karin about, seriously that's ridiculous how quickly he healed, Tsunade was only able to do that type of regeneration using a powerful jutsu that took a huge toll on her and she's a medical genius, Karin just gets a cheap thrill from it and bingo, back to full working order for whoever sucks her blood, that's bollox.

The 8th sword should be good though.

after all after that the 8tails is doing his victory celebration - though sure sasuke ahs powered up again was nice seeing him getting royally smacked up in precisely 0.25 seconds

I don't know; I have my doubts that, even with the Mangekyou, the 8 tail is going to continue showcasing just how powerful he truly is and probably prove to be way too much for them.

He's still playing around with them all and he was fresh out of training his bijuu powers. He has showcased his combat knowledge so far in his sword fighting ability, the ability to counter Sasuke's Chidori sword (showing he's more than just your average sword fighting type shinobi)

His reflexes and overall awareness on the battlefield is downright impressive. He may act like a fool, but he most certainly isn't one. Whatever Sasuke and the rest of Hawk will pull out, keep in mind that the 8 tail has Ninjutsu of his own and is THE most powerful Bijuu in the entire series. Naruto is a bijuu, but he isn't as skilled at using the abilities of the 9 tails as this guy is at using the 8 tail. The fact that he's the #1 bijuu in the naruto universe right now can't go overlooked. It will be very interesting to see how Sasuke ends up dealing with all that incredible power once he really unleashes it.

The 8 tail, right now, isn't fighting with a sense of urgency currently. How will he react when backed into a corner? I suspect he will react impressively. This isn't a case where Sasuke has an elemental advantage over his opponent. His opponent can match him in a way that the likes of Deidara never could. His opponent has a major chakra advantage and appears to really know how to use it if it comes to that.

His personality for this fight is perfect. Deidara had a sort of personality that showcased how naive and cocky he was. The 8 tails is clearly confident in his abilities, but Deidara always came off as more a big talker that was due for his paypack sooner or later. The 8 tail may very well be the winner at the end of this encounter.

i agree i think the 8 tails still has to show his true color...and we are till to see sasukes sharingan ....remember he hasn't activated it....i also think those glasses the 8 tails is wearing might save him from the M.S tsyuokomi....but i like what kishsi did....exposing sasuke is still a kid..albeit a very gifted kid....he still lacks battle experience...

I would love to see sasuke and the others almost being killed...then naruto comes..starts a fight with the 8tails... and go full 9 tails(with the 8tails going full 8tails) then naruto's hair grow ...and sasuke could be like...HE...HE'S....HE'S A SUPER SAYAN!!!

As an overall ninja i think the 8 tails iz the most powerfull jinchuri we have seen so far. But actual power i don't quite think so. Once (if) naruto learns how to control the 9 tailz he'll be practically unstoppable

Out of all the Jinchuriki we have seen so far Hachibi seems to be the most powerful/capable one outside of biju powers this is gonna be a great fight even if brotha man loses cause he will definetly escalate before getting taken out.

You know something isn't right about all of this. I mean Sasuke got his ass handed to him on a silver platter. I think we can all agree to that. In fact the 8 tails made the entire team look like a bunch of academy students. So my question is.. why the hell would Madara send Sasuke on this mission to begin with? Is Madara overconfident in Sasuke's ability? Maybe Madara knows nothing of the 8 tails user. Some may think Madara is sending Sasuke to his death, but that wouldnt make much sense because Madara needs the 8 tails and he obviously can't do these missions on his own.

I don't think Madara sent Sasuke to his death but wants to prove a point in wanting him to crawl back asking for Itachi's eyes. Madara's proven he's pretty over-the-top strong in his past deeds, so I'm pretty sure he could handle the 8-tails. He has Kisame at his side, who obviously will do his bidding now that he knows who he is. I'm sure Madara lied to a point (needing cannon fodder with exception to Sasuke) about needing Team Hawk. I think Pain desires the jinchuuriki more than Madara.

Sasuke stated he's using Akatsuki. This fight definetely will test that statement. After all this fighting is done, I'd find it a good twist if Sasuke asks the 8-Tails: "Well, shit. It looks like we can't beat you, but you are unable to finish us off. How about you join us? After I tell you everything we know about the Akatsuki and my own intentions, I think you'll find my propasal agreeable."

About the biting. That's indeed an odd healing technique. Besides the "orgasmic" tone Karin is experiencing, I really wonder if there's something else going on, such as her gaining something power-wise from Sasuke. We know Karin did *something* to Sasuke. It could just be trivial sexual related crap or perhaps something ordered from Orochimaru.
