speed of downloads

I'm not sure if it's the time i'm downloading or something but the download speed from the site is really slow for me.

I was able to download the bleach from the outside source that was given, but when i tired other animes here on the site i only hit around 25 kbs both here at home and then at school with G1 internet or even higher i'm not sure.

any thoughts? or is just me lol?

Something also came up, i keep trying to watch love hina eps. 1 and it keeps messing up. I thought it was me but each time i've tired it, even downloading a fresh copy, it gets an error about 10 15 mins in and doesn't play video anymore

Are you trying to DL through the browser? I find that my download speeds are poor through firefox but fine through flashget.

sometimes i got stuck when i'm downloading,,makes me even one day to complete one episode ...is it cause by the narutomania server..how to upgrade my speed..i got sometimes around 70-100 kb/s is it quite good enough

I also find that through flashget my speeds tend to be are. They stay stabelly around 300-500kbs for the most part. I believe the best time to download is durring the night, american time. I do think that if you're getting a constant speed at home then it's definitly your connection. And, definitly recommend downloading flashget and giving it a try.

i get like 25kbps used to get 1-1.5Mbps couple weeks back i dunno why...was using IDM that time max i get is 150

yeah I've been moving 500GB of anime off that server to another over the next couple of days. Which reduces the overall speed.

im only get 50kb/s using flashget, when i first donated last year, i got around 300kb/s, i still download from websites at 800kb/s,

anyway to improve my speed? or to download at a certain time of day?

Why is it soooo slow, im downloading at ~30kb/s. i tested my speed by downloading something from Microsoft and i got 800kb/s so its not my connection, anyway to improve this speed?

In my case, my download speed was much faster before i donated, no joke. I used to get 120Kbps now i barely reach the 65kbps range.

the best time for download in at night cause pressure will be less ,and speed should get highter in most of the time,all depend your connection speed also

as for improving speed ,you can use accelerators software such ,Dap,flash gets,Download manager .,,they will help you improving it

and as Kakashi said he has been moving some animes off the servers which can be the cause also
just give it sometime

i'm using flashget atm but speeds are still sucky and kakashi's post was made 3 months ago. Im in Australia, so my night time might be the server's most active period

I'll perform some speed tests on this asap. I gave it a quick go with IDM right now got 450kb/sec.

problem fixed, im using IDM now and im getting ~300kb/s, looks like my Flashget is crapping out

Actually my flashget is now getting normal speeds, maybe i was just downloading at the wrong time

once i downloaded from the shikamaru-server with 400 kb/sec.
now the average speed is 75 kb/sec.

is there any explication?

Sometime speed goes down because of pressure (to many people downloading if you're downloading fro public server )
Not sure what time is it in your country but the best time to have a good speed in at night unless you're downloading in day time ^


what is you're usually download speed when downloading from Shikamaru server since you said Once which can be for one time or in the past please specified ^^

and does this happen usually to you or just now ?

i checked it out at night. now (23:21pm) it's 50kb/s average speed. that works like that since a week.

"Once" would be 6 months ago.

My speeds are realitively the same. It could very well likely be your provider and such, or any changes you made to your network since then. You could also try using a program such as flash get.
