Slagbag: have you ever heard anything called "irony".
And yes, i've given these things thought. And i still do. But, anyhow these connections between the references of bible and real (present day) life are getting more and more lost from reality.

Adam and Eve,, Kicked out of the garden of Edan because they took more then they needed right now by being on the internet you are taking more then you need to survive and yet there are people starving that sin that was commit,, or at least wrote about is being continuously made by all of us pretty much every second of everyday

give it some thought
well thats the first i've heard of that. then whats the point in believing anything that the bible states? but the sad thing is some people believe every little story in that fairytale, even the stories you say are a joke.

i dont see the verse where it states that if you watch TV its a sin.... hmmm maybe someone should write that in there just like the rest of the shit thats in the bible

Depends on what type of Christian. My sister won't watch it because of the demons/incantations/etc/blah blah. I'm Christian aswell but I seriously don't believe i'm going to Hell because I watch Naruto. It's not like people who watch Naruto/Bleach go round chanting incantations and doing the Devil's work (at least from what i've seen).

Shouldn't this be thread be closed or something. The topic is silly. Basicaly you are asking "Is entertainment that does not bring harm to those who partake in it a sin". The answer is no. When people watch Naruto, nobody dies, or is robbed, or raped, or anything like that.

I'm a Christian and i don't believe i'm going to hell for watching a show like Naruto or Bleach, hell i watch Death note and i don't see anything wrong with that.

For Christian's go to hell for something like a cartoon is hentai or anything related to it.

Very stupid topic imo. I'm a Muslim (semi-devout) and i watch all sorts of anime, hell, even hentai. It's a form of entertainment, and a harmless one too.

Out of all the anime I've seen, Naruto is quite possibly the tamest ever.

If you watch a real anime series, then you might have a case for not watching anime

But even so, I think Christians should make up their own damn mind about what they want to watch. I even know a theologian who watches horror movies. There's nothing wrong with enjoying a movie or show for entertainment.

Its things like these that scares people away from the church. Naruto is just a simple form of entertainment. And if anything, christians should like naruto, since like other manga's/anime. Good triumphs over evil, which is something i think all christians believe.

Well i'm not what you would call a full on christian but i am a Protestant *christian* and i see absolutely nothing wrong with Naruto or most other anime. My friend from school, his parents don't even allow him to own a tv and they sit beside him while he is on the computer to make sure he isn't watching anything inappropiate, and he's 18. If he ever wants to watch anything of the tv he has to come round to my house to watch it and we are never allowed to talk about it in front of his parents. Now that is what i would class as extreme and if i were him i could not wait to get out of that house.
P.S He loves Naruto and Bleach

Christians shouldn't watch Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, or really most any of the anime that's been ported to America and redubbed. The voice acting is (usually) horrible.

The exceptions to the bad voice acting - ok, they can watch those.

(From a religious standpoint if you think God is going to condemn you to Hell for watching a TV show about helping your friends and doing your best or whatever morals they stick in there, then you may want to reexamine your beliefs to make sure you got that right ).

Far as I know, ten commandments don't say squat about what a cat can do for entertainment. Sure, if the actual character himself was present and accounted for in the biblical times he'd 'a been put on the planks even before the Big Guy's little sport was, but as I said before, watchin' the show should be just peachy.

People who think Naruto, Harry Potter, etc cause people to go to hell...

Batshit insane. Completely ****ed up. Christian fundamentalists are mental. You can't argue with them, they're so warped in their own world view that it rivals a suicide bomber's fanaticism, except they just hold different value sets (which thankfully don't include mass killing innocents). But if it did, they would do it in a heartbeat.
