Should Christians Watch Naruto?

In Jesus' day a guy like naruto would have that demon cast out of him and sent on his way.....A call to all christians on the forum...should we be watching a show that main character uses demon power?

If you are an inerrantist fundamentalist, then you are probably going to hell for watching Naruto, or Harry Potter. Not every Xtian is one of those though, so I'm sure plenty of Christians don't have a problem watching Naruto, or else they wouldn't be here. But I personally know some people, family members actually, who forbid their kids from watching pokemon/DBZ/Harry Potter because they think it's the 'devil's work' and watching it condemns you to hell.

There is nothing wrong with watching Naruto at all! And besides, Naruto is NOT a demon. The kyuubi that is inside of his body is the demon. I myself am a Catholic, and I have seen a lot of other Animes out there that deserve to be debated on.

u know i dont think this would make for much debate considering that this is a naruto forum, and so therefore any christian ppl who r on here will watch naruto, and there prolly isnt any1 on here who doesnt actually watch it or is against watching it

Maybe they are just not aware of the cartoon contents. Saying its a cartoon is irrelevant---hentai is a cartoon.

I believe the demons are the bad guys not the hero or helping the hero like naruto. Death god......... i don't know was exactly is wrong with this concept but i bet you'll let me know.

it is only anime it has not been prohibited for looking at it. Absolutely non christian are against looking at naruto or bleach because there are demons or death gods or something. STORE REALLY NOWHERE!!!

Why would it matter who the badguys or good guys are? The theology would still condemn it the same regardless. Also, I don't know how far you are into bleach, but there are good guy demons too.

False. There are Christians who forbid their children from looking at these cartoons, plenty of them actually.

On topic: I'm very unfamiliar with this kind of strictness except for random videos brought up on youtube. Compared to "reasonable" christianity they exist in a very low amount.

Is this some kind of sick joke, lol. I think Naruto is fine, especailly with the dub version, cursing is taken out, there is fighting, but no gore. They always have way of the ninja themes and protect your love ones. I know some christians that don't go to movie theatres, should they, no if they feel that way, thats fine, but you have alot of christians that go and watch movies and still maintain their christian lifestyle, its also a good thing to be selective.

Naruto is a Shintoist, it's even not close to Christianity - so it's a thing of tradition, and it's not even should makes you think differently.
If you offended from unappropriate scenes that's something else.
