Its official now. But I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets trade him to the Vikes.

I'd laugh if that happened but I'm guessing that Green Bay would probably give the Jets a condition that they can't trade him to an NFC North team in order for the trade to go through. Plus I think the Jets would probably want to keep Favre since they don't have a good quarterback anyway.

Favre won't be traded and the Jets will still only do marginally better than they always do. He is a great quarterback but we all know that even he on his own with limited talent around him can't carry a team, infact it'll probably affect his decision making down the stretch. I hope we got a few draft picks in return. I'm sure Brett is really looking forward to facing the Pats twice!

wow if the jets traded favre to minnesota they will have to give greenbay three first round draft picks, it does'nt say anything about if they traded him to another team say tampa or chicago.

Finally... I don't have to hear anymore about Green Bay. My money is on the Packers having a bad year.

Actually the Jets offensive line is much improved. The WRs are good, but when Pennington and Klemens are your QBs, you really won't look too good.

It all depends on whether or not they keep Favre in New York.

You guys seem to think that the Packers are much worse without Favre!! Yes, last season we relied heavily on the pass but even more on our defense. I really don't want to sound biased (yes I am a Packers fan) but at the beginning of last season all the experts had us penned down for 8-8 or 7-9 seasons. Instead we went to within a couple of plays of the Super bowl. The Vikings have a good team and much improved with Jared Allen and Berrian improving them where they were weak last season, AP is awesome and they have quality in most areas BUT we proved that we were better than them last season and our team matches up well against them in the divisional clashes also we're getting better with our own O-line growing and hopefully staying healthier this season than last. We have probably the best CB pairing in the league to cancel out their deep threat allowing our D to contain AP and we edge them in special teams. A-Rod is imo better than Jackson (or Pennington or whoever they want to bring in) and has so many good options to go to. I think we'll win the NFC North this season.

Chad Pennington got cut. Rumors are that he's heading to South Beach.

The Vikings are still my pick to win the North.

Nfc North? Sure. I wonder how much longer Favre will play pro ball.

| Jounin | ![]() Brett makes the Jets the second best team in the AFC East. C. Redman has been named the starting QB for the Falcons. D. Harvey still remains the only unsigned 1st rounder. And the Army screwed of Caleb Campbell. Thats today's happenings.

Eh? Falcons named Chris Redman the starter? I thought they would've gone for Matt Ryan as the starter..

| Jounin | I doubt it lasts. Redman isn't bad for a fill-in starter. He's got the experience. I don't mind, as a Falcon fan, seeing Ryan wait.
