The most random thing happened to me while I waited to get my food at arby's in oakwood Ga. Matt Ryan walked in and asked me for directions. I wished him good luck this season and then he left........it was intense

i'm waiting to see how brett farve does with the jets....does any1 think he'll bring them to the playoffs?

About Ryan, I'm happy for him but the Falcons have a way to go, lets see if he can give em a much needed boost.

As for Favre, we'll have to see. He is still Brett, he still has that rocket arm and that desire to do well. But the playoffs in a fairly tough division (even Miami don't look too bad at the minute) might be too much for the jets.

DJ Shockley looks him he won a roster spot on the Falcons. He outplayed Harrington and is very popular with teammates and fans. I'd be shocked if he got cut over Harrington.

i dont think brett will lead them to the playoffs. if he did it would be as a wildcard, and i think that there are other teams in other divisions that are just better than the jets.

Coming off a 4-12 season, even with a new QB Favre, I don't feel too good about the Jets. Too many strong opponents. Playoff berth is possible, but probably only wildcard. Favre is a good player, no doubt, but the Jets need more than just a new QB to fix some of the problems they had last year.

ppl are overrating how big an impact favre will have on the jets, best NY will do is 8-8. Bills are still the second best team in that division.
