thanks clay, i didnt want to make this thread myself, because i feel like i'm a little bit too anxious for training camp to start. i wouldnt have thought it possible a couple weeks ago, but with this jason taylor move, the dolphins have managed to get even worse. on paper, patriots have managed to get better on d, but there are a few question marks on the offensive side.

Well the Dolphins don't seem to be worried about this season. They are building to contend in 2010. They are stockpiling picks and building a solid team, as are the Falcons.

AFC North
1. Pittsburgh Steelers
2. Cleveland Browns
3. Baltimore Ravens
4. Cincinnati Bengals

AFC South
1. Jacksonville Jaguars
2. Indianapolis Colts
3. Houston Texans
4. Tennessee Titans

AFC East
1. New England Patriots
2. New York Jets
3. Buffallo Bills
4. Miami Dolphins

AFC West
1. San Diego Chargers
2. Denver Broncos
3. Oakland Raiders
4. Kansas City Chiefs

Wild Card: Colts & Texans

NFC North
1. Minnesota Vikings
2. Green Bay Packers
3. Chicago Bears
4. Detroit Lions

NFC South
1. New Orleans Saints
2.Carolina Panthers
3. Tampa Bay Buccanners
4. Atlanta Falcons

NFC East
1. Washington Redskins
2. Dallas Cowboys
3. Philadelphia Eagles
4. New York Giants

NFC West
1. Seattle Seahawks
2. St. Louis Rams
3. Arizona Cardinals
4.San Fransico 49ers

^Dude, you've got the Pack NOT making the playoffs =0 I beg to differ!

P.S not so sure about the 'skins winning NFC East either and I'd go with the Browns in the AFC North

Pack have turmoil right now, and I don't trust Rodgers just yet.
Skins made the playoffs with a backup QB and without thier best player(S. Taylor RIP), they now have a legit pass rusher to fill the defensive leader gap(J. Taylor)
Browns don't have the experience to make a legit push right now. They will get close.

Btw, this should be stickied soon.

Well, LT has at minimum 3 good years left in him. If he does just his avg per year, in three seasons he will have 14,643 Rush, 158 RuTDs, 4640 Rec, and 20 recTDs.
A few more good years like that, he'll break JR's TD record and ES's yd record.
Those are easily HoF numbers.
AP is going to have to sustain it, I think he will.

The Pack have a fast improving run game, ROdgers knows the system and showed he can run it, you'll change your mind in the preseason when you see him in action. The pack will not have Favre on their roster next season so there's no turmoil, Thompson and McCarthy run one of the most focussed back office we've ever had in GB, something like this is only media fodder as far as I'm concerned (all the best to Brett if he does come back and I bet he won't play in Minnesota)

Skins have improved but I dunno, it's probably the toughest division in the entire league. Tough call

Browns are a bit of a gamble but I have the right vibe.

NFC East is the 2nd toughest.
1st Belongs to the AFC South.

mention of the AFC South brings me nicely to the laughable notion that the Texans shall make the playoffs. they have improved but shall probably finish no better than 7-9. Its really close between Indy and the Jags but dunno with Manning the Colts still have the edge in my book. Tennessee is another odd team to predict, probably make third place ahead of Houston!

I'll do mine later today hopefully, still need to review a few teams and look at what they've been upto in the off-season. I usually switch off from football till August, =P I'll need to look closely at the schedule as well.

I agree with everything but the Afc south and Nfc east. I predict Colts take theirs while the Cowboys do the same. I am becoming more and more of a Romo fan for some reason.

I really have no love for the Pack atm. I am not bothering with this thread until I don't have to hear about that anymore.

We aren't the media. We aren't going to talk about that everyday.
Do we really know how well Manning's knee is?
