He's a restricted free agent, the Hawks can still match the offer sheet and keep him. Also, josh smith is way overrated.

I know, but its proly gonna be a sign and trade. And how is 18 pts, 8 boards, 3 assists, 3 blocks, and a steal a game overrated for someone who is only 22? He'd be a great number 2 option on a team with a legit star.

He gets all his points on the paint. All he's got going for him is freak athleticism. He can't shoot the ball to save his life. Usually guys that really solely on athleticism peek, and go down the drain. I agree with you that he's a good second or third option, but If I was a fan I would not be that happy to get him. I rather get someone else for that kind of money.

Although Memphis would be exciting as hell if they landed him. Conley-Smith-Gay-Mayo. Not bad at all.

Yeah, also Smith has been the victim of bad coaching and a bad ownership.

Actually, I'm pulling for Memphis to land him. Less competition in the east. The Hawks are borderline playoff team, but without Smith and the improving east, they're back in the lottery imo.

i hope they do land him. he needs to get out of atlanta and into a better situation. hopefully he's working on improving his shot. i agree with you tony, the grizzlies will be very exciting if they end up getting him.

he's not the best player, but he did outperform kobe in the finals. he outperformed him on both offense and defense.

The Philadelphia 76ers and restricted free agent Andre Iguodala have agreed to a six-year, $80 million contract, league sources tell ESPN.com.

The athletic and exciting 6-6 forward/guard has improved his scoring average in each of his first four seasons, and promises to be a mainstay on a Sixers team that recently signed former Clippers big man Elton Brand to an estimated $82 million free-agent contract.
It looks like the Sixers gonna compete in the East for a while.

He's not as good as them, but he can compete with them thats for damn sure. Smart move on Phili's part, keep Iguodala, he's their star, and now they have support for him, even better. Not really good for T.dot, more competition, but its good for him and the league.

Not a bad deal for the Cavs. They get younger, clear cap space, and get a better guard.

What are you talking about, that's a horrible deal for the cavs....Have you seen Mo Williams contract? There goes cleavland chances of keeping LeBron in '10...down the drain. What the hell do you mean clear cap space??!? They just gave up two expiring contracts for a guy that makes over 50 million over 5 years.
