Ishida's suspicion

In chapter 182 when ichigo is explaining his badge Ishida suspect something unnerving about it. Now that the flashbacks are over and the focus will shift we might see something else about it we all know kubo loves to leave the seeds of things in plain sight before revealing just how significant they are(Ichigo's hollow mask anyone?).

What are everyone's theories about it? I'll hold off on mine for now to avoid unnecessarily influencing the tide of conversation.

Maybe it has soemthing to dow ith him losing the ability to fully control his Hollow

maybe someone else in SS has something to do with the Vizards or Aizen's army.

Then again he lost control of the Hollow before he recieved the badge

I don't think hee knew about Ichigo's mask.

As for the badge I guess he could have just been suspicious because it came from SS.

Well I mean the flashbacks will probably get an epilogue of sorts so maybe it's too soon to say they're over but it can't really go on for much longer either you know

I dont see why Ishida would know anything that Urahara doesnt... If there was something fishy about, I think Urahara woiuld have atleast took a single glance at it.. But he didnt.

My most far fetched idea was that it looked very similar to that crest on the shroud that Yoruichi gave to Ichigo after learning Bankai. The crest is the insignia of the Shihohuin(spll?!?) family.

But its just got the normal death god skull on it. Same like Rukia's glove.

cant help but agree, not alotta info on SS seals but if everyone else has a bad feelin about it it's possible its a seal or tracking device of some sort. ichi had shown hollow abilities at that point and SS may have seen an opportunity to monitor his progression.

i dunno how you can say that...

The seal and the vizards were introduced at about the same time and we all know the vizards disappeared from the spotlight for about a year thx to HM and its not like ichigo would have needed the seal in HM.
