i wasn't really going to since my character just learned how to some what control his reitsu, and doesn't have any weapon training what so ever

Technically, you can make your other chars as strong as your most powerful one, but I wouldn't recommend it so soon. Your teammates may consider it unfair if your char is substantially stronger, like at the stage rangoku is.
