If ur coming in from an American curriculum going on to a British system then a foundations year is compulsory. Although u can be exempt if u perform extremely well in the entrance exams. Also depending on ur curriculum and what classes u took in gr.11+12 u can be exempt from both if they say so. But i didnt take ANY entrance exams ever because i took IBs and did OK in SATs.

Ask them. Email or call them. Do both.
