    Wink Angel in the Snow

    Well, here's a long awaited piece of art I just finished.

    It's hard to work the shaders to make the image look as "real" as possible but you should keep practicing using the colors.
    You did the snow very nicely but you should have made the different distances of snow in different blurs to make it look like there's a distance between the forth and back. As it looks now, I can see that you kind of copy pasted the large snow flakes into the background after a resize.
    It takes a while to manage the different layers when working with snow.

    The eyes and the skin also misses some shading and shadows to make it look good. A nice shine in the eyes to compensate the shadow would do. The skin is kind of bright and miss the shadows and shaders.
    Also, try to use methods were shadows isn't based on the color black with low opacity. It could make a difference.

    No. Actually, I did everything on the same layer and did not copy and paste anything at all.
    I just made some larger than the others with my pen.

    My bad then. But you should consider using different layers for show and rain depending on where they are in the depth of field.
